Approximately one thousand People Stuck on Everest Hillsides
Search and rescue missions are currently ongoing on the distant Tibetan slopes of Everest, where a intense blizzard has blocked around one thousand individuals in base camps on the east side of the peak.
Several hundred residents and response units have been dispatched to clear out heavy snowfall blocking access to the area, which rests at an height of above 4,900 meters.
